TEACHING: “HOW TOKNOW THE VOICE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT,” WITH PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME OF CHRIST EMBASSY WORLDWIDE.
As a continuation to the introduction to this topic December last year, Pastor Chris speaks: Another important thing to do in knowing the voice of the Spirit is to learn the Word of God, for His voice bears witness with the Word. He never says anything outside the Word. Whatever He tells you is always in synchronization with the written Word and consistent with God’s will for your life. John 16:13 says, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” If you are acquainted with the word, you will know whenever the Holy Spirit talks to you, for He always bears witness with the word, and the word will always bear witness with Him. His voice and the scriptures are one.
The Holy Spirit is the master communicator and knows the best way to get your attention and talk to you when he needs to. The Bible tells us for instance how he set a bush on fire to get Moses’ attention. The bush was burning all right, but it wasn’t consumed. When Moses moved closer to see the strange sight, the Lord spoke out of the bush, but said nothing about the fire. From then on, Moses never needed another burning bush to know when God was talking, for the Lord Himself had taught him to discern His voice. He will do the same for you. Glory to God! Fact 13) A financial deliverer changes your focus. Elijah painted a portrait of provision (Reference from 1st Kings 17).
14) A financial deliverer will speak words that unleash your faith. Nothing changes without your faith. Elijah was a financial deliverer for the widow of Zarephath. His anointing broke the spirit of poverty off the widow.
15) A financial deliverer has often faced the same enemy you are facing. Elijah had tasted the pain of a dried up brook. He felt her sense of helplessness, because he had been there.
16) A financial deliverer has fought the Demon of fear and won. That is why he is qualified to set you free.
17) A financial deliverer talks expectations while captives want to discuss their experiences
18) A financial deliverer discusses the future while captives want to discuss the past.
19) A financial deliverer intimidates your enemy, while a captive is intimidated by the enemy.
20) A financial deliverer has different focus from the captives. Captives focus on their losses. Deliverers focus on their victory. Captives become obsessed with their pain. Deliverers are focused on your future.
21) A financial deliverer will focus on breaking your chains, not understanding them. Some will study how they created their crisis. The financial deliverer will certainly expose your enemy, but will direct your focus and attention on being free.
It is your responsibility to recognize the financial deliverer God has assigned to you. He may not look like a deliverer. He may not talk like a deliverer. He may not act like deliverer. But he is the golden key to your life.
23) Lastly, when you embrace the teaching of a financial deliverer God has sent, your circumstances will change instantly. Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper,” (2nd Chronicles 20:20).
